Elasma - experimental font
A square industrial font inspired by the elasticity of springs
I love to experiment in different dimensions and typography is definetely one of my favourite areas while it is one aspect of design that resists progression. Elasma is an experimental square industrial font inspired by the elasticity of springs. The progressive character of this font, with its direct reference to techno music, manages to keep the balance between strict geometric aligned structure and industrial style. The square grid and its round corners make it ultra modern, powerful and solid. Including only capital letters available in one weight, this font might be pushing the limits of traditional type design, but to move forward sometimes rules have to be broken. Elasma can be used for applications that target younger group, such as: music, technology, industrial design, fashion, magazine spreads, logos, t-shirt designs and urban life.
